Two innovations from the Alarishi naval architects:

Q-Ship Module
Displacement: 1400 tonnes
Cost: 550 MUcr
Hull Type: Frail (Integrity 1)
Crew: 1 officer, 12 ratings (Crew Factor 1)
Armament: 2 x Salvo Missile Racks, 1 x Class 2 Beam (6 arc)
Defenses: none
Sensors suite: 1 fire control system
Drive systems: Drive rating 1, sufficient to power on-board systems
Comment: Designed to fit the standard 1400 ton cargo module, the Q-ship
modules are intended to provide civilian shipping with an easily
installed
deterrent to attack. While too fragile for normal military duty, they
permit a productive merchant fleet to be utilized as a defensive reserve
if
needed.
Variations: 1 x Fighter bay + 2 x Class 1 beam; or 2 x Class 2
beam
(6 arc) + 5 x Submunition Packs
Building: Classified
Night Music class Recon Corvette
Displacement: 1900 tonnes
Cost: 840 MUcr
Hull Type: Frail (Integrity 2)
Crew: 3 officer, 16 ratings (Crew Factor 1)
Armament: none
Defenses: 1 Point Defense System
Sensors suite: Superior sensors; no fire control system
Drive systems: Main Drive rating 13
Comment: Built entirely as a platform for its superb sensor suite, the
Night Music class is often seen in mercenary service.
Variations: Express courier--replace Superior Sensors with 1 PDS + 1pt
Armor. Cost 590 MUcr
Building: Classified
