If you replace muzzles with steel wire
you can simulate muzzle breaks & sleeving with
epoxy putty and brass tube or paper
				   _
	    _______________	  / |
   wire -----------------------------
	-----------------------------
	    --------------- tube  \_| blob o' putty

You have to get wire tube that fit well
and its tricky to get the muzzle breaks
to look ok. I have also used thin paper
and PVA glue. I have some renegade legion
tanks that look ok with replacement guns
after one bend too many with the originals.

The idea of the head of a pin for holding the
muzzle break is a good-one, it would help mould the
putty.
