Speaking of fired through the bore ATGMs, this is exactly what the BMP3
uses. It has a 100mm gun and fires it's ATGMs through the bore.

I think John mentioned Sharpe. Just picked up the soundtrack (had to
order
it from England). Excellent! Which puts me in a mood for prose...

Here's forty credits on the drum,
to any spacer that'll come.
Making transit once a day,
o'er the warp and far away.

(Chorus)
Oe'r the warp and o'er the main,
To Alpha Centauri and New Spain.
The NAC commands and we obey,
oe'r the warp and far away.

No power armor for us poor sods,
wherever we go we have to slog.
The interface lander never stays,
it goes back through the warp and far away.

(Chorus)

It's bad enough to fight a man,
blasted from orbit by tin cans.
But we must fight Kra'vak today
Oe'r the hills and far away.

(Chorus)

Karla uses railguns,
one hit from that and you'll be done.
Fighting them can turn you gray,
Oe'r the warp and far away.

(Chorus)

If on adistant planet I should fall,
far away from our lovely blue ball.
I'll meet you in a better place,
Oe'r the warp and far away.

Oe'r the warp and o'er the main,
To Alpha Centauri and New Spain.
The NAC commands and we obey,
oe'r the warp and far away.
