Pahh. In Canada, you should ALWAYS have your skates. As for woolen
underwear, you don't need that until mid-December. What are you, some
southern sissy? Now Mukluks are just a good fashion statement.
And don't forget, bring some monopoly money. There is a better than
even chance that it will be the right colour, and might (on any given
day) be worth more than the Canadian $ - which is great for US
tourists.

August is summer, and I'm sure august is when most people book
holidays with family (esp if they have kids). Late September (3rd
weekend?) is still reasonable fall weather (no snow if this year is a
guide). I know I'm tied up in the Softball team I captain in August,
as well as the Hope Beach Volleyball tournament, etc. etc. Plus all
the kids will be getting ready for back to school. So I'm thinking
late September... Besides....its an extra month to get organized...
