Cleaning Paint & Epoxy Off Miniatures
Some while back someone asked about cleaning up old miniatures. Here is
my contribution for what it is worth.

Cellulose paint stripper removes everything from old miniatures.
I put some old GW Star Trek miniatures in a jam jar (jelly jar?) of the

stuff and left them for a week. It ate everything but the metal
including old Aroldite (2 part epoxy glue). It left a nasty mess but
this was easily removed by scrubbing with an old toothbrush under
running water.	It stinks, it is toxic and you do not want it on your
hands but it works.

For removing acrylic paint cellulose thinners is wonderful. A brief
immersion in it strips it all. Again nasty stuff to work with.

I hope this helps,
MRB
