"Two Faces Of Tomorrow" by J.P.Hogan is an excellent book with a lot
relevance to this discussion.

1) Not quite intelligent enough computers and the problems arising from
them.
2) Advanced self-repair logic.
3) Learning computers.
4) Self-aware computers.
5) What could happen if you combine 2, 3 and 4 above :-)

Read it, its very good.
