For small engagements (1-3 ships per side) this would work ok, but if
this
was tried with more ships the level of confusion (keeping track of who
has
fired what and when) and the possibility of accidental or maybe even
intentional 'creative accounting' increases. When playing a duel between
a
couple of ships, have you ever tried using the Sa'vasku rules in MT. I
think
that these could add greatly to the atmospher of this kind of game.
