I like this use for sensors. This in combination with the stable
platform bonus makes the PDAF/ADAF very effective missiles killers. I
might even go a little further and give the bonus to the C batteries
used in fighter or missile defence mode.

Now add the ECM jamming forcing a to hit role for the missile at
terminal guidance and stations are no longer sitting ducks for missile
attacks. This might even make the station to well defended.

The bonus to hit due to the sensors may only be applied if the sensors
have been assigned to point defence mode. They may not be used to scan
enemy vessels or burn through ECM. If the ECM on a ship had been burned
through or started the process must be started again from the beginning
if the sensors are retasked.
