	There is still a lot of work going on with the Unified Field
Theory.
There may be a force not completely explained yet that brings them
together.
Dan Alderson (Formerly of NASA's JPL, May he RIP) designed the Alderson
Drive based on this idea.  We may find a FTL (in this case
instantaneous)
drive system yet...
	Besides there is plenty to do here in our own back yard.  What
we
really need is lots of Energy.	Anyone know how the Tocamak is doing
these days?
	The other issue is expense.  It takes the same amount of Energy
to
fly a 10 pound package from LAX to Sidney Australia as it does to place
that
same package in orbit.	But the costs are radically different.
	It is good that all of us nerds are the only ones that can
survive
in this changing world.  Now I'll point my sandcaster at that bully from
the
beach...
