In the UK, we are currently "rationalising" the old FW range prior to
re-releasing it this summer; the range was simply getting too big to
handle, with multiple variants of many items (mainly mix-and-match
turrents
and hull combinations). The DSM (Dirtside Miniatures) 1/300 range that
we've recently introduced are exact 6mm copies of our 25mm resin range,
and
though I say it myself they are REALLY superb - I think they are among
the
best-sculpted 6mm SF stuff in production at the moment. <End shameless
commercial plug...:)>
BTW, there are several nice APCs/MICVs in the new DSM line......

To be quite honest, yes. The FT sales outstrip the DS ones by a good
margin
on both sides of the pond, though I am hopeful that the new DSM stuff
may
redress the balance a bit!
The ship miniatures line seems to cover the

Basically as above - the DS/FW line is just TOO big as it stands!! CMD
introduced all sorts of odd variants, some of which sold and some
didn't.
Incidentally, for any of you who don't already know, we (GZG) bought out
the FT and FW ranges from Paul Copeland of CMD last year, as Paul has
had
to semi-retire due to very poor health. We're hoping that when he gets
things back together again Paul may do some more designing for us; in
the
meantime we've got plans to increase the FT line with models from some
other designers (as with the new Sa'Vasku that Dave Garnham is doing for
us).
