Well, my feedback on this is:
1) I think you're making this more complicated than it needs be,
and
2) I think you're letting Babylon 5 Wars influence you a bit much
Instead of trying to simulate every little detail, keep it simple,
and generic as possible. That's why I decided to just use pairs of
*DAF systems for interception. Using pairs of them meant they didn't
get too overly powerful (I think I have not yet updated my rules,
but they shouldn't give you more than 2 levels of screening), and
you didn't have to suffer the unneeded complications you're trying
to introduce above. Keep it simple! :) Simple's a lot easier to
grasp than complicated.
