FT on computer

Subject: FT on computer

I am trying to figure out a way to play FT on the computer both for
E-mail and head-to-head play. Is there already a system out there for
this?

In thinking of a way to do it myself all I could think of was to use a
vector-based drawing program to play the game on. This would allow ship
"objects" to be moved around with other objects (thrust lines, missles,
asteroids, etc.), as well as text notes, on a playing "surface." I have
Corel Draw 7.0 so that comes to mind and I think will work very well; I
can zoom in/out and handle all kinds of play tasks then zip the file and
send it to my opponenet. The only real problem I can see is finding
players who also have Draw 7.0. Are there any of you out there? Is there
another PC-based vector program that offers the same features that is
perhaps accessible to more folks?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul
