We seem to like playing "everyone against the Kra'vak". Last big battle
we did had four players - the Kra'vak with 15,000 points of ships (a
couple of super ships, four large carriers, and lots of escorts and
cruisers), and the three human players with around five thousand
points each (mixture of NAC, NSL and ESU fleets). We fought it to the
point where the Kra'vak had expended most of its scatterguns and
fighters, and was about to get attacked by a totally unharmed NAC,
and a tough, heavily armoured and slightly scratched NSL fleet.
The fun thing about such battles is when you get into such dilemmas
as "do I really want to rush to the rescue of my 'ally', considering
that he's facing the full might of the Kra'vak?".
(Sorry Simon, but I *tried* to get there in time, but you know how
slow my fleet is with all that armour massing it down :) ).
