All this talk of cooked prawns is making me hungry.
I can see all sorts of jokes about beam weapons microwaving the crusty
ships and sauteing the crew. Boarding parties then bringing their own
thousand island dressing and having a hangi as a victory celebration.

Thanks for the comments, Phil - sorry you'll miss the Xmas offers.
The colours I mentioned are in reference to the paint schemes used on
the tech and weapons from the movie that "inspired" the Crusties -
not a camo pattern, but a predominantly white/light grey scheme with
details and some panelwork in black and a very bright orange.

I think the new ships would look great in that sort of colour scheme
- in fact given that my painting time these days is less than zero,
if anyone here fancies trying it (to a good standard that shows off
the minis well, of course) and sending me some photos that I can use,
then I'm sure we could work out a suitable deal in terms of supplying
the ships to them in the first place..... anyone interested please
email me off-list! ;-)
