I agree wholeheartedly - very little in FT stands up to mathematical 
analysis, because it was never written that way. It was designed as a 
fun and relatively lighthearted game to simulate the kind of effects 
and engagements that you see in movies and on TV - almost all of 
which, as we know, pay little more than lip service to the laws of 
physics, but they look REALLY COOL!

If that bothers people, then they can go and play something like 
AV:T; then, after they've got it out of their systems, they can come 
back to FT for a little bit of fun!  ;-)

[Please note the above is all with tongue firmly in cheek - but there 
is a serious point about sometimes just enjoying things rather than 
over-analysing them....]
