Well the joys of working in an R and Matlab heavy enviro is that when
teaching I'm very used to scripting up the infrastructure and using
C/C++ for crunchy bits. In my stuff I was still heavily old school (all
C/C++) but everyone needs a shake-up every now and again... besides if
my PhD students are using it I better get my head round it so I can keep
up with them ;)
