Of course, Third Worlders are notoriously cavalier about such
things--I believe the cultural concept is denoted by "Inshallah".
Inshallah, I will kill the Americans. Inshallah, I will blow myself
up. Inshallah, the RPG will be a dud, but I will go to the hashish
bar and brag about how manly I am for firing an RPG at the Americans.

Feet. . . right. Feet. Excuse me while I go flagellate myself. I'm
used to thinking in meters so much that my eye glossed right over the
little '. I just assumed that a European would be using meters.
