Ergo my words '...as I try to avoid replying or even acknowledging...';
I've actually had a bit of luck with off-list requesting the seemingly
more
reasonable of two who are going back and forth to do likewise. The more
vocal person feels something childish about the discourse like 'I win',
and
the list works very well thereafter.
TomB, you've really been on longer than I? My first post was in
Februrary
of '97; funny, now that I think of it, I would have thought I'd have
celebrated my ten year anniversary over a year ago.
Course, I'd been lurking for quite awhile before, so I suppose my memory
of
the list welcoming you might be less than illusion. Remember 7k MU
battlepasses? I thought some recent posts on colony 'drive bys' cut
close
to that direction. ;->=

Sorry, even I find it useful to get the list silly on occasion.
If we're lucky, it, like uncivility, will fade through behaviour
extinction. We've seen FAR worse....)
Wait, I've been called a girl! Oh, I was agreeing with him... ;->=

I've seen the lights on the CSU/DSU glitter in the dark near the router.
All these things will be lost in time, like dropped packets. Time to
