Nope.
SMs have a range of 24MU.
Keep the fleet speed of the 4 move anvil at 12-16, and they can dodge or
use banzai jammers, and still get into a position to hit within 24 mu
beforee you can warp out.
The idea of the speed 6 vessels is to wrong-foot the opponent - they
have
less missile defences and hull than their speed-4 equivalents (actually
not
true - they're just 50% larger for the same effect) and can both dodge
SMs
and cripple light-hulled vessels very easily.
SM-ERs with a range of 36 are more of a problem, but low magazine loads
mean an opponent who just bores in and takes the lumps can wreck your
fleet.
