For a mercenary unit, you may want more of a mix of equipment types, to
show
that the unit has scrounged, scavenged, recovered vehicles from the
battlefield, etc.

That's rather heavy for a company HQ. I'd have expected one squad --
maybe
CO, XO, a specialist or two, and a few grunts to keep unfriendly
strangers
fom bothering the Old Man.

I assume that means "during defensive operations" -- in an attack, I'd
think
you'd want the assault units up front.

Sounds weird, but I know navies have tended to take that attitude
towards
their capital ships.
