Greg,

The Renegade Legion plastics are smaller and somewhat more delicate 
looking.  The turrets, in particular are extremely thin.  Despite this, 
they are quite usable. You may have to play them as being a bit smaller 
than you would otherwise expect (like the medium tank is around a size 3

IMHO), but as stated, you can certainly use them.
