[FT] Some pictures

I wanted to share a few pictures.

Here's a Japanese cruiser on a Battletech flight base:

Here's my plan for storing spaceships:

This was a fruit box, and it came with a piece of foam that fit the box.
I cut it into three strips, then cut slits at 40cm
intervals, offsetting adjacent rows of slits. The third strip hasn't
been cut yet--it will have larger intervals for my larger
ships.

The box is pretty heavy (I'm going to tape it for reinforcement--there
is a lot of metal in it now).

Here's a picture of me slipping a figure into its slit:

Finally, here are two fighter bases. One is the GZG base with the arms.
 The other is my version.

I glued a 3/8" (I think) ball onto the tip of a base, and drilled holes
in it.	The heavy fighters are stuck on with the sticky
stuff for putting posters on walls. The GZG thing is pretty good, but I
was thinking that I'd like to try thinner wires leading to
the fighters. (I'm using pins.) Of course, I've got a big sphere
floating in the middle, so it is a tradeoff. I could solder the
things to a wire like on my Battletech flight bases, if I could get them
to hold still in position. :)
