In addition Bob and I got together twice in person. One time we gamed
out the Special Forces actions (in 15mm using my Fallujah setup and
troops) which was very helpful in working out the mechanics of
conducting an FMA style snatch using stargrunt. The second time we
worked through the other board (but without minis just a map).

You can see that towards the end of the prep cycle, Tom had a very
prolific spurt of planning that was key.
