There would be two obvious ways:
1) A back hatch that hinges DOWN to cover the skirt with a ramp

2) If the APC can direct more force to the skirts and lift itself UP a
foot 
or two then armored troops could get out through a hatch in the bottom
and 
allow the APC to back up, advance or side slip to uncover them from a
courching 
position. This would be very useful for assaults INTO a compound for
instance.
