A webpage where a person (sometimes more than one) keeps something like

diary, writing whatever fancies them. There now an incredible lot of
them.
Topics range from politics to poetry, economics to music, science to
sex,
there are soldiers' blogs, whores' blogs, religious blogs... Most are
American, but you can find blogs from anywhere. Lots of Europeans,
Australians, Asians... even some Iraqis.

On many blogs, readers are allowed to post comments, making them into a
discussion forum.

http://www.blogger.com/ is one of the sites that people use for that
purpose.
