again more Graser observations

Forgot a few things to mention...

When an enemy ship fired its weapons, it was not the
other weapons I worried about.	They did their damage,
but when it was time to roll for those Graser-1s is when
I really worried.  From a class-1 weapon?  I was
dissing Steve's 10x class-1 Kguns on his "Texas" and
dreaded his 3x class-1 Grasers (20 mass of weapons 
was less feared than 12 mass of weapons).  And this was 
even after we made the "no-reroll" house rule on Grasers!
Now most of the ships I played didn't have screens so
this does add to the "fear factor", but even level-1 screened
ships were hard hit by the Graser-1s.  (I should have
kept SOME notes).

(dang it, forgot the other things I wanted to say...
hmmm, BRB.. *strolls to kitchen for late night snack*)

Here's something... I designed four ships to test, but
the others weren't interested in flying them.  They
were specifically weapon-armed ships (TMF/NPV):

Grasers (124/450): 1x G2 (F,FP,FS), 2x G1 (F,FP,AP),
2x G1 (F,FS,AS), 1x G1 (all), level-1 screen, MD4,
3x FC, 4x PDS, average 4-row hull (37), 6x armor, FTL.

Beams (134/451): 1x B3 (F,FP,FS), 1x B3 (F,FP,AP),
1x B3 (F,FS,AS), 3x B2 (all), 3x B1 (all), level-1 screen, 
MD4, 4x FC, 4x PDS, average 4-row hull (40), 9 armor, FTL.

Rail Guns (114/444): 1x K4 (F), 2x K3 (F), 2x K1 (all),
MD6 advanced, 3 FC, 6 Scatterguns, >average 4-row 
hull (38), FTL.

Pulse Torpedoes (134/450): 3x PTL (F,FP,FS), 1x PTL 
(F,FP,AP), 1x PTL (F,FS,AS), MD4, 3x FC, 5x PDS,
average 4-row hull (40), 9 armor, FTL.
(probably be better to turn 2 of the "FH" PTLs, one to
each side)

*sigh*	still cannot remember something that I thought
was important.	Oh well... as soon as I send this post
it will come to me.  :(
