A lot of ST combat was in normal space, only when someone was fleeing

combat go FTL, er, subspace.

I'm feeling less comfortable with my position, but it still seems like
this
was intentional fuzzy. Generally, fighting in 'impulse' was deemed like
would be described on occasion as moving 'like a wallowing pig', but
plenty
of fights started with slowing to meet.

I still see cinematic as a useful model to combine both, but accept, as
always, I'm in a minority.
