Re: John Atkinson whereabouts

Hi everyone,

Further to the John Atkinson whereabouts discussion, I have a bit more
info.  I was chatting (via email) with John, and asked him if I could
relay
his current plans.

He has leave from November 12th:

"I'm in Kuwait now.  I fly to the US and will be
in Virginia by the 13th, and will have to start travel
back on the 29th.  Regarding book list. . . I have
very limited luggage space.  I'll let you know what on
the list I can find myself and mail to myself, but
there may be some (the Glen Cook stuff) that may
require looking in a lot of used book stores across
the continent.	Haha."

And he was indeed working in an engineer line unit up near Tikrit (no
bridge).

The book list he mentioned - I asked him if there was anything he was
short
of over there that I might be able to do something about, and he
responded
"good books".  He sent me a wishlist of books, but then I started
hearing
about this leave, so I didn't do anything about the book list.	He'll
let
me know what he's got once his leave is done, and I'm going to try to
organize sending him some other stuff to keep him entertained while
"over
there...".  I'll pass on the amended wishlist to this list (....er, I
didn't do that on purpose...) and maybe some of us can organize sending
him
something.
