Matrix Revolution and StarGrunt/Dirtside

 (This could be considered a spoiler: if you really don't
 want to know anything about Matrix:Revolutions, stop now.)

 OK, the machines are drilling down to Zion. If they then
 just dropped a nuke down the hole the movie would be too
 short, so they're also sending in an army of mechanical
 spider/octopus things.

 And like in Star Wars Attack of the Clones, we've got a
 future human military who mostly fight standing up, almost
 shoulder to shoulder, spraying automatic weapon fire around.

 Has anyone tried a scenario for Stargrunt/Dirtside (sorry,
 not sure which would be appropriate) where the 2003 style
 US Army takes on one of these 'high-tech Napoleonics'?
 Might make a good demo game for conventions.
