I've been buying up ST and SW Micro Machines at between $1-$3 apiece,
shippage included, on eBay, and I try to stay in the lower part of that
range.

I just expect to have failing bids a fair amount of the time.

I just KNOW I'm going to kick myself for mentioning this, but I was
planning on selling some off to pay for the ones I got, so competition
can
only break me out of my buying frenzy. ;->=
