I'm Andrew Martin. I've got some answers for your Dirtside II questions.

That's about right.

In our games, we agree that LAD and ADS can fire at low VTOLs, provided
there's line of sight.

the VTOLs get hit. Just seems a bit odd to me that you can guarantee a
hit
with artillery on top of something moving 30 inches.

That's right. Consider that the VTOLs have come to halt inside the burst
area of the artillery HEF or are valid targets for MAK submunitions.
