Sure. But were they a *majority*, or a small but highly visible (because

they were out in the streets *in front of the cameras*, while the rest

Put it like this: I'm pretty sure that you could get very good pics of
huge 
lots of USAmericans dancing in the streets in lots of places all over
your 
country after the baseball league finals, and I know for certain that
you 
can get pictures of massed jubilant fans from all over the world after
the 
football ("soccer" to you) world championships... but that does not mean

that the vast majority of the population is out dancing, or even
interested 
in the sports in question :-/
