I have Prefect, but have never had a chance to play it.. I have kept it
just
because I really liked the rules. It dealt alot with supply and unit
signature and sensor ratings, all based on units game stats... When an
encounter took placed, you could then jump to the various RL family
game,
and determine the outcome there if desired.. All in all, pretty cool.

Bob,

The first one that springs to mind is Battleforce, which was then
planetary
invasion game for batteltech.
The smallest units where lances/platoons. There where 2 editions and
only
the second really covered the
entire invasion cycle.

Other one that occur are:

Invasion: Earth - GDW's traveller based game (but this is fairly rare)
Cerberus - Task Force Games, all units are battalions. (Also pretty
rare)

There was also an entry in the Renegade Legion series - Prefect? but I
don't
know anything about that.

Chris Downes-Ward
