Another thing to remember is that with Full Thrust,
balanced fleet design is frequently a matter of weapon
fits which is independant from the miniatures
themselves.  

For instance, a fleet without a powerful ADFC-equipped
escort is raw meat, but it can be the same cruiser
miniature which as a different configuration sports
three Pulse Torpedo tubes and makes up your secondary
battleline.  :)
