[SG] meets [RL]

Well, the 82nd Airborne is trying out it's first drone
counters in Afghanistan.

Amusing article in the Army Times today discusses
little tracked robots about a foot high they are
field-testing to run through caves.  It weighs 42lbs
(heavy enough to set off AP mines), is a foot tall to
trip tripwires, and can be equipped with cameras and
other acessories, including a 12ga shotgun.  It costs
$40,000 (which is about 1/6th cost of paying out on
the life insurance on a single soldier).
