I really really like Aztec airbrushes. I've worked with a lot of
different
modelers' grade airbrushes and the Aztecs are tremendous.

One low cost hint: ALL of the tips (which contain the needle, the needle
shroud, etc etc) are self contained and fit ALL of the current models of
Aztec airbrushes. So if you buy the single action internal mix 1000S
(which
you can buy all day long at Walmart for about $14), you can buy any of
the
other tips and swap them onto the 1000S body. Likewise, one time my wife
and
I found a stack of Testor airbrush kits complete with 1000S, gray tips,
airbrush paints, 8 oz of airbrush cleaner, propel can, adapters for
compressors, pippettes, frisket, and paper canvas for $6 apeice. We of
course bought the whole stack.

For alot of the gross painting work we use the 1000Ses more than our
4700
series. For fine detail work the 4700 gets the nod. There is absolutely
nothing wrong with using the 4700 for large coverage projects-it works
great! But the 1000S works great also, and if I drop it or do something
stupid, I've destroyed the cheapy brush. (I find the bigger the project,
the
more likely I am to do something really stupid to the airbrush).

Come to think of it, there are already a million monkeys on a million
typewriters, and email	is NOTHING like Shakespeare.
