Morning all !
I think I had FT for a year before I played my first game @7 years ago.
I bought Stargrunt about 3 years ago but had my first game just before
christmas.
I played my first game of Dirtside 2 last night having had the rules for
about 3 years. GZG games are just wonderful...

I wanted to introduce DS2 and SG2 to my local, but have long since
parted
with all of my painted epic stuff, but I knew that one of our members
had
1/300th German and Russian forces. I suggested that as a way of killing
2
birds with one stone, he should bring his WW2 stuff down and we'd have a
quick run through - he found some rules on the Web for KEC's and we
agreed
to play to learn the system. We managed to get through 3 turns before we
called it a night, but had a great time. I took a few snaps with my
camera - hopefully the will come out ok :)

Has anyone else play the WW2 genre for DS2 ? If so, would you care to
share
you knowledge as this would speed up our entry into this area :-]

It also struck me that although there are players willing to dabble with
new
stuff, if I really want to be surrounded by GZG games players (in the
way
that I am currently hemmed in at all sides by DBM players - not that
there's
anything wrong with DBM ;-) ) then the way to do it would be to start a
club.

Simple, eh ? We shall see. If anyone is interested, feel free to
contact
me at lala1006@talk21.com. The club would be west london based and meet
once
or twice a month just to play GZG stuff.
