ALL.

define whether the area of operations is a restricted fire zone or a
free fire zone for the troops involved.

shoot if attacked. do not cross into area "ALPHA", even in pursuit of
the  enemy, 
these are both restrict fire zone examples.

if it moves or has a weapon and is not one of US, waste it! everyone in
this  area is a hostile.  this is an example of a free fire  zone.

be nice to the bad guys pretending to be innocnts.

call the UN  if attacked and pray for deliverence, but do not shoot
back!

do not intervene even  if you see bad guys shooting, raping, or
bludgeoning, unarmed  civilians or prisoners-take notes, get location,
photos, and names documentation  for forwarding to UN peacekeeper HQ is
another.
