Sadly yes. A 1/3000 scale Super Star Destroyer is 2.65m long. Whereas a
1/3000th TIE fighter is about 2mm high.

How about the plastic kit (ERTL ?). It's about 15" (38cm) long - but
curiously is advertised as being 1/1800th, which is clearly wrong :-/
