We can, _on request_, split an order down into two or more smaller
packages
- a lower value per package means they are less likely to be checked by
Customs and charged for; this means you may pay an extra pound or two in
total postage/packing costs, but you stand a higher chance of escaping
duties on at least some of the packets. 30% is VERY high - what did they
class the goods as? (normally we label them as "metal toys" or similar
(NOT
untrue....!), which AFAIK should avoid the higher duty rates).

As someone else suggested, if you want to take advantage of the January
offers but collect in person in Feb, we can do that; place an order
through
the online store but put "to be collected" or something in the "shipping
info" part of the order process; we'll then pack and charge the order in
January, and simply put it aside ready for you to collect.
