No worries, those Ericson helos ( old Sikorski CH-64 Skycranes ) have
already literally saved dozens of lives. IIRC we sent a hundred
firefighters to the US the last time you guys had some wildfires in
Washington State. But the Helos have paid for that in full, with
interest, compounded, bonus payment and lagniape.
Besides which, the Australian involvement in Afghanistan is miniscule
compared to what the US is doing. You have your own fish to fry at the
moment, and we appreciate that.
