My guess is that having "Solar" in the name doesn't sound very relevant
in
either the Russian or Chinese names.  Having "Ri" in the Chinese name
would imply having something to do with Japan to many people :)

Of course, to me this whole political structure (ESU) is less plausible
than a papal theocracy ruled by Nicholas V. (known as Nicholas the
Bloody
because of his blood-red vestments.  He's known to direct battles
personally in his reindeer-drawn chariot)
