What is supercavitation. I know what regular cavitation is, is super
cavitation where you get sucked backwards by the bubbles? :)

----------------------------
>From what I have read it is the process of making a bubble that
encloses a
weapon to decrease drag thus increasing speed.

There is an article on the subject at
<http://www.sciam.com/2001/0501issue/0501ashley.html>

I liked this part:
Some naval experts believe that supercavitating systems could alter the
nature of undersea warfare, changing stealthy cat-and-mouse stalking
contests between large submarines into something resembling aerial
combat,
featuring noisy high-speed dogfights among small, short-range
"subfighters"
shooting underwater bullets at one another after having been launched
from
giant "subcarriers."

Justification for Full Thrust under water (Full Thirst)? I know there
has
already been at least one go at underwater FT
