For a roleplaying game, where you're going to be focusing on a few
characters over a long time, I'd pick out half a dozen 25mm figs and
put in the time to paint them right. In fact I do have a few figs
like that.
However, once you start using ranged weapons, the fig
scale-to-ground scale starts looking rather odd; and when you have
sixty to eighty figs on the table, then the ground scale is even
farther out of whack and you're talking about some investment in time
and money. And if next week you cry "what? NSL vs FSE *again*? How
about PAU vs OU? NAC vs ESU? IF vs NI?"--then your price tag just
quadrupled and your painting time extends out to "later in life". I
like the figs, the figs are great, okay, but the point is, let's go
