Hmmm. Any Size-1 weapon would be cumbersome for a
PA (just like a size-2 weapon is the largest you
can mount on a size-1 vehicle).
So I would suggest that any PA with a Size-1 weapon
would have to be Slow Power Armor. And that would
be its only weapon (i.e. no standard gun).
In DS2 just count it as a Hvy Weapons Team of PA
and pay a point difference for the DFFG instead of
the GMS/L.

two could carry and fire a DFFG/1.

The PA carrying the cannon does not have the normal built-in laser but
does
carry a ballistic shield on the arm.

Depending on the group you play with I'd let one PA carry a DFFG/1.
Depending on how anime your friends are you can get away with a lot of
things with big guns :) I'm a big fan of the heavy weapon mounted on a
back pack and extending over the shoulder. I'm planning on modifying the
New Isrieli troops I'm ordering to replave the shoulder missile launcher
with all the different types of heavy infantry support weapons.
