Re:[OT]-ish : Figure painting question

G'day Tom,

Sorry no excellent off the bat advice, but what you could do is paint
the 
scheme a couple of times on a bit of board (preferably one with 
bumps....like a paint mixing board with old dried paint on it or
something) 
and then experiment to see what works. That's how I usually try and
figure 
out what looks good and what doesn't.
