I am not at all knowledgable about GW 'stuff' but based on the read I
assume that the Tyranids are non-humanoid "Alien" type creatures?

For game balance I think that it might help to allow the Tyranids some
form of AT value up close for light armor - maybe 2 chits as IAVR at 3"
and 1 chit at 6" (Pray for Boom! Napoleon said to "...plan for
luck...")
with an 'off the wall' idea of allowing a unit (of three or more ) to
fire "all" the unit's capability at one target (no more AT strength this
game) for 4 chits up to 5" range... Such an attack assumes there is
some
rechargeable AT value for the unit that is 'over-used' compared to
'normal' combat that will need more time to accumulate then is covered
by
the scenario.

Overall sounds like a pretty good game if still needing some tweaking
(more terrain?) to balance it better.

P.S.
I especially like the realization that the commander's "morale" was the
critical factor in the win - what would have been the game result if the
humans had withdrawn off the field?
