Yep, that is another novel in my collection. Or you can use the example
in
the story where the marines go to jupiter (forgot the title), or the man
kzinti wars, where the ramscoup ship comes in a C fractional speeds,
towing
a large number of 1 ton projectiles, which it releases before slowing.
Or
the whiff of grapeshot story in HH, where kinetic strikes are used
against
the rioters. Plenty of examples, but these wouldn`t work against a
mobile
target (tip for anybody thinking of fixed instalations, put at least a
minimum drive on so they can move. If they are static, the enemy can
predict
the orbit in advance, and send a kinetic strike in against them).
