And you could say that the core systems are built like the proverbial
brick
s*$t house*, and are too tough to target until the ship has taken a
pounding. Before anyone says why don`t you build the entire ship like
this,
the NSL do (a lot of armour over a tough hull).

*ps-reminds me of a story, when the council in barnsley were trying to
demolish a public lavatory, that had been built in WW2 to bomb shelter
specs. The had to eventually call in specialists, because the bugger
wouldn`t fall down<G>.
