10mm is a growing scale. It's gaining in popularity amongst historicals.
GHQ
has had 10mm Civil War for a while. There are a number of other
companies
coming out with 10mm figures. I'm not sure it makes a lot of sense for
sci-fi,
but it makes a lot of sense for mass combat games.
But... I applaud them. There are far too many people doing stuff in
oversized
25mm. Jon is selling 15mm, which is a good departure from the usual (so,
for
that matter, is his true 25mm line). Departure is good. It gives people
choices.
Funny enough, I found some 10mm Battletech figures. I have probably 100
figures from the old Battletech infantry line. I was going to use them
with
Striker, but not sure what to do with them now (I have plenty of 15mm
figures
for SG2).
Oh, and 10mm is very, very close to the N-scale model railroad gauge.
Terrain
shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, they do. Unfortunately the pictures are out of focus. Or rather,
the
depth of field is shot (the background looks to be in focus). You can't
see
the detail on the infantry very well. They do look good, however. And,
if
doing a SST game, you really don't need much else...
